Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This privacy policy describes how the Bluetooth Audio Connect Widget Android application (“the app”) handles information. This is a placeholder draft — please review it with the app's actual behaviour before publishing.
Summary
The app is designed to run entirely on your device. It does not require an account, and it is built to work without collecting personal data or sending it to a server.
Information the app uses
- Paired Bluetooth devices. To show your devices and connect to them, the app reads the list of Bluetooth devices already paired on your phone, their connection state and — where supported — their battery level. This information is used on the device to operate the widget and is not transmitted off the device.
- App settings. Your preferences (such as per-device volume levels and the app chosen to open on connect) are stored locally on your device.
Permissions
- Bluetooth / Nearby devices. Required to see paired devices and connect or disconnect them.
- Display over other apps (optional). Used on some Android versions to launch your chosen app when a device connects.
- Ignore battery optimisation (optional). Helps the app keep working reliably in the background.
Data sharing
The app does not sell your data and does not share personal information with third parties. If analytics, crash reporting or advertising services are used, they must be listed here together with what they collect.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
